This is love...1John 4:10

Hey guys!
I'm Liel.  I'm 17 and a junior in high school, just striving to survive another day:) Life is HARD. especially for a teenager these days!! This blog is a place where I can just lay out all my thoughts and burdens, and we  can experience life together! I have dreams higher than the sky, and hopes grander than the sea. I believe if you "delight yourself in the Lord, He shall give you the desires of your heart." Psalm 37:4
The theme for this blog 1 Corinthians 13:13-- "and now abide in faith, hope, and love, but the greatest of these is love." love, in it's truest sense, is pure, respectful, and long suffering. How our world has twisted the true meaning of love! Gods Word says in 1 Corinthians 13 that without love, all spiritual gifts, all missions, everything, is NOTHING  apart from love. Jesus gave only two commandments to sum up ALL of the law: "love your neighbor as yourself; and love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength." Luke 10:27

Jesus longs for a relationship, NOT a religion. Let's trust Jesus Christ, and pray for His love.

In His Grace,
Liel

"He will love you and bless you and multiply you; He will also bless the fruit of your womb and the fruit of your land..."
Deuteronomy 7:13

  1. I agree totally with Liel. In these days, the purity level in our society has decreased so much and it seems like people look at the word purity as staying 'clean' from any relationships outside of marriage until marriage, but the word purity has lots more meanings. One of them is that we be pure in mind and in heart. We can guard our hearts and what we think, believe it or not. The Lord has called us as the church to be pure and holy, set apart for Him and His purposes, and if we don't do that, it defeats the whole purpose of us right now. God put us girls in times like these in 2012, in April. We are supposed to be set apart for Him, and when we do finally move onto a new phase of our lives and meet our future husbands, then the Lord will lay out His plans for us then. Right now, we need to be faithful to Him. He is our husband right now. He is who we need to have our thoughts on all the time. And I think that we miss that a lot. We are the light of the world, we are a city on a hill. Everything we do is noticed by somebody. We need to set the example, girls.
